I'm not too keen on this idea. I dont like the portrait image as it is hard to work with. I have had to overlap a few other images to make it look right. The text is simple, and has simple colours. I dont think it works on the black either as I dont think it looks as professional. But the title of the magazine stands out more, thats about it.
